Los Angeles Sparks
After holding on for a hard-fought victory against the Seattle Storm in the first round of the playoffs, the Sparks advanced to the Western Conference finals against San Antonio. Sound a little like the 2008 playoff roadmap of another Los Angeles basketball team? The series against the Silver Stars was not settled as of press time, but if Lisa Leslie, Candace Parkers and the rest of the Sparks can best the Texans, they’ll advance to the WNBA Finals, where they’ll take on the winner of the Detroit-Connecticut series for a chance to win their fourth league title.
