Wednesdays, 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m.: Produce, flowers, coffee, baked goods and soap, to mention a few.

Chinatown Farmers Market

Echo Park

Angelino Heights

Architecture Tours L.A.

Monday-Sunday, 9:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and by appointment. Two-to-three-hour driving tours of Downtown and other areas, focusing on the significant historic and contemporary architecture, culture and history of various neighborhoods. $65 per person. Call (323) 464-7868 or architecturetoursla.com.

Art Deco Tours

Saturdays, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. A walking tour and up-close look at Downtown’s art deco palaces led by the Los Angeles Conservancy. $10, $5 for members. Call (213) 623-2489 or laconservancy.org.

Biltmore Hotel

Second Sunday of the month, 2 p.m. See the amazing architecture of the “Host of the Coast” as it is known to its old jazz clientele, and explore the ballrooms and common areas of the hotel built in 1923. Call (213) 623-2489 or laconservancy.org.

Broadway Theatre District Tour

Saturdays, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Get an up-close glimpse and taste of history with a tour of the historic Vaudeville-era theaters that line Broadway. The Los Angeles Conservancy leads a walking tour. $10, $5 for members. Call (213) 623-2489 or laconservancy.org.

Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels

Monday-Friday, 1 p.m. Free one-hour tour of the cathedral led by volunteers. Also available are tours for children and a traditional English tea and tour. All tours begin at the Lower Level Plaza, 555 W. Temple St., (213) 680-5215 or olacathedral.org.

Echo Park Lake Walking Tour

Every other month: Explore the historic heart of Echo Park. This one-and-a-half-hour tour features the area’s prominent historic landmarks and the colorful histories of neighborhood buildings. Visit the Angelus Temple, Jensen’s Recreation Center and the restored “Lady of the Lake” statue. Echo Park Boathouse, 751 Echo Park Ave., (323) 860-8874 or historicechopark.org.

Downtown’s Evolving Skyline Tour

Every third Saturday of the month. This tour of architecture, art, and open spaces of the Central Business District focus on the postwar urban built environment, and how a city’s future is shaped by the choices it makes about its past. Call (213) 623-2489 or laconservancy.org.

City Hall

Every first Saturday of the month, 11 a.m. This tour explores the architecture and history of this fully restored landmark. Included on the tour are some of the building’s important public spaces, including the rotunda, City Council chambers and public works session room. Call (213) 623-2489 or laconservancy.org.

Elysian Park

Every other month: A two-hour walking tour of the historically rich eastern edge of Elysian Park. Tour begins at 10 a.m. Echo Park Historical Society, (323) 860-8874 or historicechopark.org.

El Pueblo

Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and noon. Free docent-led tours of the El Pueblo de los Angeles Historical Monument. At 130 Paseo de la Plaza. (213) 628-1274 or lasangelitas.org.

L.A. Fashion District Shopping Tour

Monday-Saturday with advance reservation, 10:30 a.m. Three hours of walking and shopping with a guide in the nation’s largest fashion district. $36 per person. Call (213) 683-9715 or urbanshoppingadventures.com.

Historic Core Tour

Saturdays, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Learn about the architecture of one of the city’s most storied districts on a special Historic Core walking tour led by the Los Angeles Conservancy. $10, $5 for members. Call (213) 623-2489 or laconservancy.org.

Little Tokyo Tour

Every second Saturday of the month. As the cultural and historic heart of the Japanese community in Los Angeles, Little Tokyo offers vivid contrasts between the old and the new. This tour includes architectural and cultural history as well as background on the city’s Japanese community. Call (213) 623-2489 or laconservancy.org.

Metro Art Tours

Every first Saturday and Sunday of the month, 10 a.m.-noon. Tour provides insights into Metro transit system artworks and is led by knowledgeable docents. Free. Tours meet at historic Union Station or Hollywood/Highland Metro Rail station. Call (213) 922-2738 or metro.net/art for details.

Los Angeles Central Library Tour

Monday-Friday, 12:30 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m., 2 p.m.; Sunday, 2 p.m.: Docent-led tours of the Central Library, including its art and architecture. Tours begin in front of the library store in the main lobby. Reservations are necessary for groups of 10 or more.

Red Line Tours

Daily. “Inside Historic Downtown L.A.” operates at 9:45 a.m., and “Inside Contemporary Downtown L.A.” operates at noon. Reserve tours by 9 p.m. the day prior. Tours meet inside the Bradbury Building, 304 S. Broadway, (323) 402-1074 ext. 11 or redlinetours.com.

San Antonio Winery Tour

Undiscovered Chinatown Tour

Union Station

Every third Saturday of the month. Explore the last great railway station built in America, an inspiring building combining the Spanish Colonial revival and Art Deco styles. USC

Every other month. More than 125 years old, USC has a rich architectural, historical and cultural heritage. Visit many of the campus’ architecturally significant buildings during this two-and-a-half-hour walking tour. Call (213) 623-2489 or laconservancy.org.

Walt Disney Concert Hall

Daily. The Concert Hall hosts a variety of tours: audio, matinée public guided tours, lunchtime expresses and a walk through the Urban Garden. Call for each day’s schedule. 111 S. Grand Ave., (323) 850-2000 or wdch.com.

Wall Street of the West Tour

Every fourth Saturday of the month, the L.A. Conservancy leads a tour of Spring Street, once the West Coast’s center of finance. Tour starts 10 a.m. and lasts until 12:30 p.m. $10, $5 for members. Call (213) 623-2489 or laconservancy.org.

Too Many Tamales

Bilingual Foundation of the Arts presents a play directed by Alejandra Flores. Margarita Galban and Lina Montalvo adapted Gary Soto’s book of the same title.

Point Moorea Happy Hour
