Redwood Bar & Grilldaily

It’s a pirate’s life now for the Redwood Bar & Grill, the former Los Angeles Times watering hole. Nautical gear is everywhere, including fishing nets and floats, weathered wooden planks and the stumps of dock timbers. Tatou

Located inside singer Prince’s old Glam Slam club, the sprawling space pays homage to the old Cocoanut Grove nightclub. Royal Clayton’s Pub

An inviting urban tavern on the ground floor of the Toy Factory Lofts. The industrial space attracts a diverse crowd well into the evening. Royal Claytons offers 30 or so brews and a tasty menu: filet mignon, Philly steak spring rolls, blue cheese mashed potatoes and sweet potato fries.
